Just a short 5 minute walk away lies the atmospheric Redcastle ruin – a hidden gem steeped in history, perched above the firth and framed by ancient trees and roaming wildlife.
I have been a super host for over 15 years. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s and hotels. We all agreed that Rivulet House was our favorite. The house worked so well for our party of 7 and we truly loved everything about the house and location. There is not one thing I’d change about this place! Such beautiful design and decor with so many thoughtful touches! Thank you Katie for the best stay in Scotland!

The Farmhouse was an extremely special place that gave us a haven of relaxed luxury over a busy celebratory weekend! Immaculately presented and a very welcoming space, my family and friends couldn’t have been happier. Superb location – private and a glorious view of the Beauly Firth. (August 2026)
Fettes Farmhouse
We absolutely adored Fettes Farmhouse. It was just so stunning and the location was amazing. This was the first time any of my friends had been to the Highlands and they came away having fallen in love with the place. The house comes amazingly well stocked, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable throughout.(August 2026)

Beautiful REDCASTLE COTTAGE with nice touches, such as great bedding, lovely crockery and glassware etc. which made us feel right at home. Loved the peacocks who visited daily and the hot tub was gorgeous after a long day out exploring.
Redcastle Cottage
Had an amazing stay at REDCASTLE COTTAGE. Beautiful views, private and peaceful, the hot tub was the icing on the cake! Used our stay as a base to explore the Highlands with easy drive to Inverness, Loch Ness and even Glencoe but the cottage itself was so good you could just stay there. Would highly recommend.

REDCASTLE COTTAGE is located in a beautiful landscape and if you are looking for peace and quiet you will find it here. The interior is cozy and so nicely thought out, and the hot tub is such a nice addition for relaxed evenings with views you wont forget. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back. Definitely recommend!

Having stayed at a few places on the Black Isle now I can honestly say that GARDEN COTTAGE is by far the best. The others were lovely but this one stands out for its location, homely feel, comfort, beautiful enclosed private garden, a real home from home. Everything you need for a relaxing break with lots of lovely walks, a short car ride away as well as along the shore front of the cottage. I was travelling with an elderly parent and dogs and everyone felt catered for. Already thinking about rebooking for next year.

What a magical place! GARDEN COTTAGE is beyond charming. The sea is in the front and a castle in the back! We stayed all over Scotland during our two week visit and this place was by far our favourite! The hot tub was a definite plus and the walk to the Redcastle ruin was enchanting. I would recommend this place to anyone!
